Newnan Fanatics (Open Women Amateur Division 3 Team)

Newnan Force began its team in Newnan in fall of 2007 in order to offer opportunity on the southside of Atlanta to those female adult players who still wished to compete in the sport.  We currently participate in the Greater Atlanta Women’s Soccer Association (GAWSA) in the Division 3 bracket. Games are played on Sundays on various fields around the metro area. GAWSA is affiliated with the Georgia Amateur Soccer Association and US Soccer.

Fall Season usually runs from mid-September through late November and Spring Season is from mid-March until June for ten games each. All games will be played on Sundays. We are looking for players who will be able to play in games on a regular basis. We also expect that players will be responsible in notifying their team if they are unable to attend a game. Newnan Fanatics competes in the division 3 bracket which is a competitive/recreational level.  The team currently consists of players with different levels of skill; most are over the age of 30.
